On je najavio izgradnju i nekoliko objekata novih trgovinskih lanaca u prestonici, kao i formiranje nekoliko industrijskih zona, poput zone oko novog, Pupinovog mosta. „Nove industrijske zone predstavljaju šansu za povećanje investicija, a povećan je i broj izdatih građevinskih dozvola u odnosu na predhodne godine“, naveo je zamenik gradonačelnika.
Govoreći o gradskom dočeku Nove godine on je rekao da je zadovoljan što je proslava protekla, kako kaže, bez incidenata i što je veliki broj stranih turista i gradjana prestonice dočekao novu godinu na beogradskim trgovima „bez obzira na nisku temperaturu“.
