Impact Hub je ugostio Inbal Polak u okviru svoje godišnje Recap konferencije 2019. godine i ova epizoda je bila prilika da sa njom razgovaramo o njenoj investitorskoj misiji.

2:20 You cannot have startups without angel investors.

3:30 There is a gap in the ecosystem here. A 15 year gap. Startups are talented people but that is not enough. Idea is not enough.

3:50 It is hard to be an entrepreneur. Not everybody can be an entrepreneur. 

4:20 The local scene will be able to scale up only if the local money is put into startups.

4:30 No foreign investors will want to come if the local investors are not willing to take the risk themselves.

5:50 The evaluations of startups here are much lower than in Israel and US. This is lowering the risk for foreign investors. However, we do not know the regulations.

9:30 If you are looking locally, I will not invest. You have to look globally. You have to focus on one market in the beginning. But be able to scale to other countries. If you come with that – not only technology or product, then I can look into it.

10:40 Investor is your partner, this is a relationship. Don’t come only for his money or his connections. Don’t come only for his name. This is a long term partnership. 

11:20 You have to remember, in the end, investor wants you to succeed. Your success is investor’s return.
