Njujorški dnevnik Volstrit džornal (Wall Street Jornal) piše da raspad evrozone nikada nije bio bliži.

Drugi faktor od uticaja na prolongiranje krize evrozone, po „Volstrut džornalu“, predstavlja ukrajinska kriza i sankcije koje je Evropska unija uvela Rusiji, kao i uzvratne mere Moskve. Sankcije su se, konstatuje se u tekstu, naročito loše odrazile na privredu Nemačke. 
Kao treći faktor navode se interni problemi u evrozoni, poput strukturnih problema koji su nastavili da ometaju obnovu mnogih evropskih privreda, naročito zemalja južne Evrope, sprečavajući prebacivanje kapitala i radne snage u mesta gde bi bili produktivniji.
