Odabrali smo najzanimljivije. The Plant Hunter - portal koji se bavi novim trendovima        View this post on Instagram                   Today on TPH we are celebrating three outstanding landscape designers - @xanthewhite, Miguel Urquijo and @phillip_johnson_landscapes - who exemplify designing with nature through their words and work. ⠀ ⠀ "...to build a garden that seeks to instil peace, tranquillity and connection in its users we have to use, as far as possible, local materials and native plants. Both the cultural and natural elements of a place must be valued if we want to evoke a feeling of integration, of belonging," says Miguel Urquijo, co-founder of Madrid based landscape and garden design studio, Urquijo-Kastner.⠀ ⠀ Link to full story in bio.⠀ ⠀ Image of a Salamanca garden designed by Urquijo-Kastner photographed by @clairetakacs⠀ ⠀A post shared by The Planthunter (@theplanthunter) on Jul 23, 2019 at 2:47pm PDTStranica sa savetima za početnike        View this post on Instagram                   Another one from the pollinator garden, Cassia didymobotrya, or as my son calls it, the popcorn????plant. Yes, it actually does smell like movie theatre popcorn, not the flowers that are blooming, but before the flower opens run the bud and smell your fingers and tell me it doesn’t smell like AMC. So you know I rock with butterflies, and thanks to my better half I had to convert a portion of my garden in a butterfly pollinator garden. This plant is a host plant for the beautiful sulphur butterfly, and it grows well in our climate (Zone 9A). Plus it will flower from the summer to the fall. You will have to prune the Cassia or it will go wild, and careful where you place it because it can get over 6’ tall. The majority of cassia plants have beautiful yellow blooms all fall long, but plant in the spring so it has time to grow significant roots. It can also be planted in the fall, but if we have a hard freeze there’s a chance it doesn’t make it through. Full sun or part shade and fertilize regularly and this plant will get it popping. Another reason I love it, once established this plants needs minimal irrigation maybe because it has roots that extended something like 20+’ into the ground. My kind of plant- minimal upkeep, productive and serves more than one purpose. I can’t wait for all the sulphur butterflies ???????? ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ • • • • #AlwaysGrowingFood #GardenCoach #GardenDesigner #Zone9Garden #GrowForIt #GrowingHouston #HoustonTexas #GetGrowing #UrbanGardening #InMyGarden #GardenGram #EpicGardening #SpringGarden #BackyardGarden #HowDoesYourGardenGrow #TheHappyGardeningLife #GardeningTips #GardeningIdeas #PollinatorGarden #Pollinators #YellowFlowers #FlowerGarden #GardenFlowers #ButterflyGarden #GardenPhotographyA post shared by Timothy Hammond (@bigcitygardener) on Apr 29, 2019 at 7:03pm PDTZa ljubitelje trave i paprati        View this post on Instagram                   Lots of beautiful stock currently available...email us to arrange a visit to make your selections for September planting ????A post shared by @ arvensisperennials on Jul 12, 2019 at 12:05am PDTZajednica različitih kultura        View this post on Instagram                   More baskets are filling up...everything was started from seeds including the Thai basil in the background.
